The Demon in the Snow
begins with Gatoh and his henchman ready to attack Zabuza. Gatoh attempts to humiliate Zabuza and the crowd laughs at him. Zabuza, losing his contract to kill Tazuna, loses his interest in fighting Kakashi. Gatoh hits the dead Haku with his cane. Naruto runs to attack Gatoh but is halted by Kakashi. Zabuza says he used Haku only as a tool and has no regrets.
Naruto is very upset about how Zabuza reacted to Haku’s death, stating how much Haku really appreciated Zabuza. Naruto begins crying thinking about how Haku sacrificed his life just to save Zabuza. Zabuza takes Naruto’s words to heart and begins crying as well. Zabuza uses his teeth to rip the wraps off his face and asks Naruto to hand him his knife. Naruto throws his knife toward Zabuza and Zabuza catches it with his teeth and charges into the crowd
